Dbrand Announces Killswitch Case for ROG Ally + Possible Skins Incoming

Dbrand announced that their Steam Deck Killswitch case is officially coming to ROG Ally next year!

Are you loving your ROG Ally, but missing an excellent case to offer some solid protection? Well, there’s no need to worry anymore! Today, Dbrand announced that their infamous Steam Deck Killswitch case is coming to the ROG Ally, kickstand and all!

The case and how to get it is largely the same as the Steam Deck one, and you can put down a reservation for $3 to be one of the first to purchase when it is available at the beginning of next year. The pricing will be similar to the Deck version, too:

  • $59.95 for the Case, which has a kickstand and SD card storage, and a choice of skin
  • $74.95 for everything above + travel cover and stick grips

Interestingly, Dbrand mentions that with the case, you can also get a choice of skin for your device. With the Steam Deck, they do offer different skins you can choose from to put on your Deck, so this could be hinting at them creating skins for the ROG Ally as well.

As someone who has the Steam Deck Killswitch case, I can attest to how good of a case this is. It is on the expensive side, with alternatives like the Modcase from JSAUX coming in at $29.99, but for the price, it is a sturdy case offering a lot of protection. So, if you decide to take the plunge with Dbrand, you won’t regret it!
